In addition to being a premier music venue for national acts, the 400 Bar also welcomes local bands to play. Every local band is asked to presell at least 25 tickets to play a week night show (Sunday - Thursday), and 50 tickets to play a weekend show (Friday and Saturday). We print the tickets and bands pick them up from the bar to sell to friends, family and fans. Bands pay the venue when loading in for the 6pm sound check on the day of show. This allows us to pay each band fairly, as some may sell more tickets than others. 70% of ticket sales will be paid to each band at the end of the night.
